What Is Irregular Bleeding?
A “typical” menstrual cycle varies from person to person.
Most cycles occur about every 21–35 days and bleeding usually lasts 3–8 days.
Irregular bleeding can include:
- •Periods that come more or less often than usual
- •Bleeding or spotting between periods
- •Bleeding after sex
- •Bleeding after menopause
- •Very heavy or very light periods
- •Periods that last much longer than usual
